Fedora Packages and Yum repository

This contains a number of packages I've built for Fedora Core. They were mostly server-oriented (initially being built primarily for use on qbert here) but may be of general use nowadays.
The Enlartenment GnuPG repo signing key can be added to your RPM database via the following command:
rpm --import http://www.thatfleminggent.com/RPM-GPG-KEY.mf

However the recommended way is to use the enlartenment-release package for each Fedora release, mentioned below.

Supported Items

YUM config
For the simplest and laziest install, grab the "enlartenment-release"/"thatfleminggent-release" package for your Fedora/CentOS/RHEL version; the Repoview links will provide the appropriate packages and a list of available software.
Extras (Core 6 and older) itself seems to be yum-only and APT-RPM development has apparently been stopped, so support for it here has ceased. Consider smartpm if yum doesn't suit you.

The Current Package Lists
Views now provided by RepoView for updated goodness!

XML Feed
There is also an XML feed available for my currently maintained packages. Copy the appropriate link location from the little XML next to your chosen release and architecture into your feed reader to get a list of updated packages and changelog information. The feed is generated using Fedora Extras' "repoview" package and will normally show the 30 most recently updated packages.

Repository Compatibility & Interoperability
Ideally, the main repository should be used in tandem with the following repositories, the idea being that they complement each other. For Fedora Core 4 the only necessity is that Extras is enabled, as these packages are built in a clean buildroot with only itself and the Core/Extras repositories enabled.
Note: Support for DAG / Dries repos ("RPMForge") has been dropped as of 7 April 2005. It may still be interoperable (I believe his RPMForge project is using similar conventions to Fedora Extras which is good and will help greatly) but I personally am not following them.

Notes about the build process:
It should be noted that all Fedora Core 4 and later repo builds are performed by use of a "mock" chroot jail on all architectures. This ensures that they are clean and can be rebuilt anywhere. It also keeps me honest in regards to BuildRequires:. :-D
At this stage, Core 3 packages are not built in mock.

Unsupported Items

These are references to older, legacy applications, packages and methods that I have created and used in the past, but I can no longer support due to disuse, lack of upstream support or general obsolescence. Do not email me questions regarding these items and use them at your peril.
